New video!!

At Least It Was Here (Community Theme Song) // Liam Covers

I really wanted to upload this at the same time the new season of Community premiered, but if the show’s taught me anything it’s that October 19th can be anytime and mean anything. So here’s my a capella cover of The 88’s full version of the theme song! Enjoy!

(This has a loooot of vocal layers in it and optimum listening experience comes through headphones rather than shitty laptop speakers but it’s your life)

A thing I’ve been sitting on for ages. Hope you enjoy! Share if you do :D

How great is Liam

Very.

Apparently there was another YouTube-related riot in Hyde Park today!

5,000 people showed up for an event orchestrated by the Janoskians (YouTube group from Australia who I literally just heard of 20mins ago yet they can still command that much attention. The internet is vast and scary)

People got trampled, police got called, parents were weirdly apathetic about the whole thing, and the video footage shows that all that some of the teenage fans cared about was that they got to touch the getaway car the Janoskians were rapidly bundled into

While there’s volumes of cautionary tales about the organisation of future YouTube events that can be written from this, I just want to say I am so, so glad that most of you guys are intelligent, independently-minded, sane people that don’t define yourselves purely on things you like - specifically me, and the stuff I make. I know most of that is down to me not having nearly the kind of subscriber numbers or regular content output that these guys or others like them do, but honestly sometimes I think about what things could be like if you guys acted more like a fandom, and honestly, I don’t think I could hack it

The concept of fandom in general unsettles me though; don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge believer in being completely unironically enthusiastic about stuff, and sharing that love! But not to the point where you become part of a homogenous indiscernible mass of shipping and unnecessary references and poorly constructed tributary usernames. Overall I guess I’m just glad most of you represent that belief, in a way.

I dunno where I’m going with this, just wanna let you know that I appreciate you guys. Sorry that it took someone else’s fans being horrendously awful to get me to say it though <3

I have some tributary usernames, but I think they’re well constructed, so phew. I do make a LOT of unnecessary references, though.

I legitimately don’t know how I feel about this. My brain is all sorts of scared and excited and confused.

Theories on how Tarantino’s Green Lantern would look:
3600 nonlinear stories for every individual member of the Corps
Emphasis on John Stewart to satisfy the “n-word quota”
Harvey Keitel as Sinestro (in fact yes please gimme that please)
Parallax would wear a suit and quote Edgar Allen Poe or something
An hour dedicated to the murder and fridge-stuffing of Kyle Rayner’s girlfriend
Every single construct made with the ring would be a giant woman’s bare foot

tearsofrassilon replied to your photo: THIS HAS TO STOP

WHAT WHAT WHAT WHERE DID YOU FIND THOSE SWEATERS? I MUST HAVE THEM.

A clothing store in Edinburgh called Hoochie Coochie. Even if you don’t go for the clothes, go for the guy who runs it who basically looks exactly like what would happen if Robert Downey Jr had Jack Sparrow’s hair and talked in a Scottish accent

I am reblogging this now, cause I just searched frantically through my Tumblr for the name of this store, using all of the tags I could think of…before I remembered that I could google it.
